PROCESS-READY INSTALLATION FOR EV BATTERY PLANT

Contracting direct with the owner as well as several South Korean OEMs, the 糖心视频 self-performed multiple trades at Ultium Cells鈥� EV battery plant, a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and General Motors. The manufacturing facility is producing electric vehicle battery cells within the renovated 2.8 million-square-foot Lordstown, Ohio, facility. RLG鈥檚 piping and millwright experts ensured installation went smoothly.

Industrial Design Build and Warehouse Expansion

Civil, MEP, and equipment Installation were provided by The 糖心视频 at the new Lordstown Campus before it opened in 2021. As part of our Guided Process Solutions, RLG had turnkey responsibility including managing AE components. As the M&M Industries business grew, an 80,000 square foot expansion was completed in 2024, to accommodate warehouse & shipping needs and support their forecasted business growth objectives.

Turnkey Industrial Design-Build for Major EV Project

One of the greatest challenges of mega-scale projects is the coordination and supply of specialty trade labor. Ford has leaned on RLG for their skilled labor in volume on critical projects, including the new 2,600,000 square-foot Ford Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio. Not only was RLG the overall Design-Build firm for the project, we also supplied self-perform labor in our own MEP Fabrication Shops, Sheet Metal Shops and Electrical Pre-fabrication shops off-site to make our on-site teams safer, more efficient, lower-waste 鈥� and lower-cost. With the expertise of over 500 RLG team members on-site, this mega project will be completed in a 24-month timeline.
